Gentoo
The Idea
Gentoo was a narrative-driven challenge built around a pre-defined story: a central character (a penguin) facing a problem, solving it through the platform, and returning to a resolved, everyday reality.
I was responsible for the overall creative direction, translating the brief into a cohesive visual system and ensuring consistency across all production assets, from concept to final output.
The Project
The project was approached as a unified storytelling system, where design, animation, and narrative needed to function as one
coherent experience.
Work included art direction, environment and asset creation, character design, 2D animation, AI-assisted workflows for visual consistency, motion structure, sound design, and postproduction. The focus was on building a clear narrative flow and a visually controlled world that supported the story at every stage.
